Through a partnership with Great Plains Technology Center, the hospital will train and employ candidates in a program designed from the Medical Assistance program at Great Plains. Earn while you learn to become a Clinical Medical Technology Assistant.
Classes will be offered three to four times per year. The program will be approximately 40 days in length and once complete, successful candidates will have immediate job placement in one of the clinics at Lawton Community Health Centers (LCHC) or Memorial Medical Group (MMG).
The curriculum will consist of the following modules that must be successfully completed:
- Electronic Medical Records
- Medication Administration and Reconciliation
- Clinical Procedures in vital signs, phlebotomy, and infection control
- Clinical Field Training
